Update 19th June: Version 2.0 now boasts support for nearly thirty common coins, enhancing its weight capacity! This simple, frameless photo stand consumes approximately 50-60mm of filament (equivalent to a penny or two) and showcases your photographs without the need for a frame. Coin weight customization is possible by specifying one of nearly thirty built-in common coin types from the USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe (e.g., US_25C for a quarter and EU_50C for a euro 50c). For coins not listed, specify their diameter and thickness instead. Printing is quick and easy, making it an ideal sample print for demonstrations. With 15 customizable parameters, define the shape and size to suit your needs. In the photos, a standard-sized 5x7 photo (127x178mm) is displayed. Adjust parameters to alter width, length, thickness, angle, tab distance, tab size, coin weight, and more. To print, use the provided STLs, which cater to coinless versions and one accepting a US quarter for added weight. Manual insertion of photos allows for flexibility in positioning the middle tab. For full control, modify parameters within the opensSCAD file and re-render. Available parameters include baseThickness, baseWidth, baseLength, baseSupportWidth, coinSize, coinClipPadding, coinClipThickness, coinSupportWidth, coinStopHeight, coinStopOverhang, tabThickness, tabHeight, tabRadius, tabSeparation, and tabAngle, with $fn determining circle quality.
