Quick and easy "hook" to hang picture frames on furniture or walls with ease. Just print two FrameGrabbers, one shorter for behind the furniture and a longer one for the top surface. Place the frame against the FrameGrabber and let it lean against the wall, ensuring the small raised part in front securely grips the frame. How I Designed This Customizer Settings Thickness The thickness dimension gives the FrameGrabber its strength but is mainly used to control its appearance. A thickness of 3 to 5 mm has worked well for me so far. Length When creating a perfect fit for your picture frames, the length of the FrameGrabber is crucial in relation to the height of the frame. If the length is too short, the angle of the picture frame becomes too small, increasing the risk of it falling over. I've successfully created a 60mm length for a 100 cm frame. Height Adjusting how far up the tab at the front of the FrameGrabber reaches onto the picture is controlled by changing its height. A height of 10-15 mm seems to work well. Depth The depth dimension controls the part of the object that holds the picture against the back of the furniture. As long as it's enough to prevent the picture from pulling the FrameGrabber up over the furniture, you'll be fine. Circ The Circ dimension adds extra strength to the joint by bringing a small circle into play. This prevents plastic bending and helps strengthen the joint. Extr The extrusion of the part is defined here, partly for aesthetic control but working well around 10-15mm.
