Frame Saddle Battery Pack (40 Cells - 10s4p)
thingiverse
After printing and building my first 10s4p battery pack, I was not happy with the size of the pack relative to the size of the bike frame so I set out to find a better way to mount a battery pack and not look so ridiculous. Obviously this is a permanently mounted solution which requires you to take your bike to where ever you're charging it instead of removing the battery for charging somewhere convenient. I decided to try to have the pack straddle the frame with the BMS and wiring sitting on top. Updated files narrows the cases to improve fitment options and also strengthen the top arch to support the weight of the batteries. Caveat: I have no idea if this will work. The width fits between the crank rotation on my bike but I don't have any spare batteries to build and test. the narrower battery cage is remixed from : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4917617 More pictures if I ever move to build it.
