Frame Rate Glasses

Frame Rate Glasses

thingiverse

I've designed innovative glasses that enable users to perceive the world at varying frame rates, thanks to a clever mechanism involving a 3D printed disk with a single slit. The faster the converted computer fan spins this disk, the sharper the user's vision becomes, effectively giving them a cinematic experience reminiscent of movies. Drawing inspiration from film, I aimed to create an immersive viewing experience. To build these glasses, users need two 9-volt batteries, two 120mm computer fans, and potentiometers to control speed. They'll also require red and black wire for electrical connections. Basic knowledge of wiring a battery to a potentiometer to a fan is necessary. Moreover, the fan blades in the computer cooler must be removed to ensure safety and optimal performance. To maximize visual impact, users should move their heads while the fans are on, creating an engaging experience. With these glasses, you'll have a unique way of perceiving the world.
