Frame mounted battery pack for 26" hardtail e-bikes
thingiverse
This is a casing I designed to work on a 76.8v Lithium iron phosphate battery pack consisting of a 24S3P arrangement using 6,000mAH 32700 (3270 if you're a Tesla fanboy) cells. The battery should be able to fit into most standard hardtail bicycle frames but your mileage can and probably will vary. I recommend making a mockup of the smaller casing to verify fitment before printing the rest of the parts. Please refer to the readme for parts links and guidance for installing! Please also note that while LiFePo4 cells are more stable and not as explosive as Li-ion, they can still start fires if shorted, and they still require battery management systems (BMSes) to be charged and discharged optimally. Always follow best practises when building your packs to prevent fire or damage to the battery or your e-bike!! There are a couple variants of the battery casing in this design. One is for a 6-piece case that can be glued together, and the other is for lucky SOBs who have a gigantic printer that can actually take something this large in one go.
