In Progress! To-Do Face: Widen screw holes Tweak position of screw holes Widen counter-sink chamfer Back: Extend holes through rear Tweak hole position and size to match front holes Add small chamfer for easy screw entry Measure depth against components on PCB for screw clearance Slim it down and knock-out vs. the HDMI port (exposed). /To-Do Well, they made a new version of the 5" HDMI LCD panel with or without touch from Adafruit. I just had to make an enclosure. This works with my little desktop stand like the other enclosure I designed. Note, I gave it some holes to breathe. New version has an expanded aperture for the LCD plate. Caveat: The design herein fits the measurements of the panel I have, sort of. They have the LCD portion stuck onto the PCB with some double-stick foamy tape, and it's not perfectly centered even rotated a little. You will likely have to un-mount the thing and re-mount it to make it fit well. Instructions begin warning The unit I received didn't have the LCD bit perfectly aligned when it was attached to the PCB; you will likely have to remove/realign the LCD on the PCB and this may void your warranty. Be careful when doing something like this as touching the circuit board with a knife could cause damage, so take full responsibility. end warning Build it with plenty of shells or solid. It's meant to be mounted to the little desktop stand with four #4 flat-head screws. The front then screws onto the rear panel with four #4 x 1/2" screws; it is designed to self-tap into holes on the rear. I did print the front part of the panel in PLA had to remove the sticky foam on the panel itself as noted above. I used 2 shells and 25% fill, .3mm layer height and default everything else, no raft in Makerware on my Replicator 2. If you print it post your "I made one" details especially if you make it in ABS
