Frame clamp for Tevo Tarantula
thingiverse
One of the first things I designed was this little clamp, used to mount the Tarantula frame onto a piece of wood. It's an extremely easy print, and super useful. By clamping down your printer becomes much more stable. I even mounted my PSU on the same piece of wood so that my printer is both mobile and stable at the same time! I highly recommend printing at least 2 of these at the same time, so that the material has sufficient time to cool. They are supposed to be printed upright. There are two STL files; the difference lies in the width of the slot used for the screw. I've used regular wood screws, where a 4mm width was more than enough. Please share your experiences and findings if you make one, I'd love to hear (and see) them! Cheers, Jordi B Print Settings: Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 or 0.3 Infill: 25% or more
