These brackets are designed for four-way junctions, T junctions, and corner junctions of 1" square wooden pieces used in container gardening. The creator made them specifically for tomato gardens, as traditional inverted metal cones don't work well in containers. The frame is built using 1"-square gardening stakes, with crossbeams cut from the stakes. While the structure can be wobbly due to nail-joined corners, these brackets provide additional support by joining vertical and horizontal pieces, and also serve as feet without plastic bottoms. The design features extra screw holes for flexible placement, and the creator suggests using only necessary screws for ease of installation. Although originally designed for 1" x 1" wooden pieces, these brackets can be scaled up for larger sizes with adjustments to screw size or washers. SketchUp files from 2013 are available for resizing if needed.
