The images were snapped at Budapest, Hungary's Museum of Fine Arts. I managed to pull off this scan under far-from-perfect photogrammetry conditions, so unfortunately some parts are a bit fuzzy. The sculpture sat under a thick safety glass cage that reflected everything from the surrounding interior like a mirror. The light conditions were dim and directional, which caused some baked-in shadows to appear in the color map. And since it was strictly forbidden to use tripods, I had to open up my aperture to f4.0 @1/40 hand-held shutter speed, which produced some depth of field even with my 20mm focal length lens. The image set was reconstructed by using 3DFlow Zephyr (version: Clementine – beta). With the help of Zephyr's filtering tools, I had no problem selecting and disabling some of the images that projected reflections from the glass cage until mesh generating and texturing stage. I captured 184 images and had to filter out around 14. The bottom of the sculpture's texture was corrected in post by using Substance Painter.
