Fragment of Attic stele
myminifactory
Ancient Greek relic, 1st century, unearthed in Greece, crafted from marble. On display at Musée d'Art et d'Histoire (Cinquantenaire) in Brussels, Belgium. Captured with CapturingReality technology. High-resolution model available upon request for free. Two stately Corinthian columns stand strong beneath an architrave adorned with a decorative cornice and intricately carved antefixes. The inscription on the architrave reveals the identity of the deceased individual, a young man draped in a traditional gown reminiscent of Caius Julius Leo. This suggests that the subject had obtained citizenship through a member of the people lulii, potentially even Julius Caesar himself.
