Originally towering over twelve meters high, these colossal monuments were erected as part of a grand royal memorial at Biyahmu in the Fayum region. During the Middle Kingdom period, the Fayum area was bustling with numerous building projects, likely sparked by ambitious land reclamation endeavors undertaken in the region around that time.
