Fractions and Shapes
thingiverse
I created a learning tool for my nieces to understand shapes and fractions, including .stl files along with the original CAD files. The accompanying word document can be printed and plastic laminated as a template to arrange the various parts. Each sub-part of a specific shape is identical, except for the triangle halves. The only difference between the right and left halves lies in the placement of lettering on opposite surfaces and their corresponding flips. Design: FreeCAD 0.16 Slicing Software: Cura 3.0.4 Printing Details: Anet A6 printer in PLA with a 0.15mm layer height, 15% 'zig-zag' infill, 0.8mm shell, and 0.45mm top and bottom layers. One skirt was printed to prime and clear the extruder of previous color. Regular masking tape on the print bed eliminated the need for brim or supports.
