Fractal Tree

Fractal Tree

thingiverse

The experiment involved constructing a basic tree using fractals, which was subsequently printed on a MakerBot. The formation consisted of three arms that were replicated by reducing the size to half and fitting it onto the hexagonal tip of each branch. The branching pattern increased progressively from one layer to another, with the first layer having 3 branches, the second layer boasting 9 branches, and the third layer featuring 27 branches. The file format for this design was .skp, which is compatible with Google Sketchup.
