Fractal Scrolls
thingiverse
A volumetric object, characterized by a curling fractal pattern, is presented in this RAW data of 400x40`enter code here`400x400 dimensions with 8-bit depth, compressed for easy access. The visualization can be viewed using PNG codec AVI in 400x400x400 resolution or as a mesh via PLY (1.14M polygons) and reduced STL format (495K polygons). This object is part of my series aimed at demonstrating the differences between volumetric and polygonal representations for better comprehension of 3D printing concepts.
