I use the Fractal Define 7 XL with a 360 CPU AIO mounted on top. There is a quite large at the 5,25" bay, allowing the front intake fans to push air out directly or circle it. Air which shell be used for cooling. This faceplate prevents the air from leaving the case without having cooled something before. In delivery condition, there is already a plate (with lots of holes) mounted at that position. The design is adjusted for re-using the screws of this plate.
