FR632 / Diversity Tripod Mount
thingiverse
This is a mount that I designed because I wanted a reliable tripod mount with some additional features that were missing in my previous setup. A battery shelf for mounting the ground station and tripods, and it fits batteries such as this 1800mAh Dinogy 3s pack perfectly. The shelf also has room for goggles of any size. Non-faceplate or faceplate googles can be easily attached here, like my DOM HD V2's that I have in the picture. This mount will fit various receivers, including an FR632 model. In fact, I'm pretty sure it should work just as well with the RD40 receiver due to its similar size. The RC1 connector has been designed to work seamlessly with Manfrotto tripods, or you can simply attach a flat plate if you'd like to use your own custom tripod attachment. All of these details are explained clearly in the attached files. If you need any extra features like a mesh-mix connection for your connector, it's not difficult at all - just apply some super glue and it'll stick right into place! Note that there will be no structural support required if you can manage to print it without the RC1 connector in place. However, keep in mind that if you do choose to use the RC1 connector and find that my manual support doesn't work when printing with a raft setting then I suggest trying this version of the mount which does come with extra reinforcements!
