This is a custom motor mount for my FPV49 flying wing, designed specifically to accommodate a Turnigy D2826-6 2200kv motor. My FPV49 designs often struggle with tail heaviness, so I reworked the mount to bring the motor closer to the center of gravity. By doing so, it becomes less aerodynamic but reduces the weight needed to balance the plane. I secured the mount in place using M3 screws. If you prefer to use screws as well, I recommend adding a thin layer of glue to the underside of gift card plastic to prevent metal damage to the foam. Alternatively, you can simply glue the mount directly into position.
