FPV250 Battery Tray

FPV250 Battery Tray

This is a tray that can be bolted to the underside of the FPV250 found at hobbyking. It allowed me to mount a 4xESC to the bottom of the airframe and then attach the battery to the tray securely. The feet align with holes in the frame. I used 3mm cap head screws to lock it into place tightly. I've crashed my quad multiple times already, and the tray remains unbroken. Instructions I highly recommend printing these at a 100% infill rate if possible. This gives it the necessary structural integrity to withstand hard landings and crashes without shattering. PLA or ABS should be suitable materials for this task. After printing, you'll probably need to ream out the holes in the feet slightly. I used a 3mm tap on my PLA version, but a 2.5 mm drill bit could also work effectively. The goal is to make the hole tight enough that the screws have a solid grasp on the plastic.
