I utilize the Makerbot 2x Printer found at http://amzn.to/2glOIXi. For optimal results, I recommend using Makerbot Printer Filament available at http://amzn.to/2fceUUi. To prevent warping and ensure a smooth print surface, I apply Kapton tape to the heated print bed as seen at http://amzn.to/2glJL0t. This is my FPV tilt camera gimbal design that has been in development for several years. I am thrilled to share it with you and hope that you derive as much pleasure from using it as I have. It has performed admirably and been a joy to use. You can view the video demonstration of this gimbal at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfOvA880lj4&t=31s. The gimbal utilizes a HS65MG servo, which I secure in place using plumbers goop. This solution has proven effective but requires caution when handling the servo horn to avoid binding. Print settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .35mm Infill Percentage: 100% Notes: I apply Kapton tape to the print bed and preheat it before applying a thin mixture of ABS and acetone. While I do not use rafts, I employ support structures for optimal results. The extruder temperature is set at 236°C, while the platform temperature is maintained at 110°C.
