FPV tank Conversion for Losi 1/18 Mini Rock Crawler Full thrust bearing Turret traverse is key to this conversion. This allows for smooth, precise movement of the turret. Saddle boxes are used to safely mount electronics in place. They provide a secure platform for your gear. Mg90 servos are utilized to power the turret's movements. Their reliability and precision make them an excellent choice for this application. A generic 600-1200 TVL FPV cam is mounted using a cam mount designed specifically for these cameras. This ensures a solid, stable platform for capturing high-quality footage. The thrust bearing in use relies on 8mm airsoft BBs to reduce friction and wear on the turret's moving parts. To complete this conversion, you will need to replace the body mount with a saddle box mount. This requires drilling out some holes to the appropriate size and digging up a couple of screws to secure the saddle boxes to the frame. M2.5 screws are used for mounting the saddle boxes, which were drilled to accommodate them. The stock shock balls have been modified by drilling out the mount holes to allow for smooth operation. An M3 bolt and nut are employed to pivot the cam elevation, ensuring a stable and secure platform for your camera.
