This printed part snugly fits around the 8mm SMA connector nut commonly used on FPV gear, making it simple to tighten or loosen the nuts without needing a wrench. I print one for each SMA connector and leave it in place. Made with PLA, this adapter weighs just .25 gm. There are two versions available: small and large. The larger version has an outside diameter 1.5 mm greater than the smaller one. I use the smaller size for tight spaces such as 45° or 90° fittings. In areas with plenty of room to grasp and turn, I prefer the larger version, which allows me to get the nut slightly tighter. Both versions feature a .5mm slit that provides a bit of spring, enabling it to slide easily over the nut and accommodating expansion and contraction due to temperature fluctuations between summer heat and winter cold.
