FPV Quadcopter
thingiverse
Ducted fan FPV quadcopter engineered around the robust BETAFPV F3/F4 Brushed Flight Controller, boasting a 26mm mounting hole pattern. This design leverages powerful 8.5x20mm motors to deliver exceptional performance. A high-quality Wolfwhoop WT05 Micro serves as the FPV camera. Manufactured with durable PETG, this quadcopter withstands rigorous use and harsh environments. PLA may be too brittle, potentially failing to survive a crash; however, results may vary depending on specific conditions. The camera mount, riser, and body are securely fastened together by four 2mm screws inserted from the top, directly threading into the body's mounting points. Motors are firmly press-fitted to the body, while fan ducts provide added stability. Installed between the main body and camera riser is the flight control board. To prevent damage, I utilized tiny rubber grommets between the board and mounting screws; however, their necessity is debatable. A plain rubber band secures the battery below by wrapping around two protruding tabs on the body. Forty-millimeter diameter props with 1mm shaft press fit enable efficient airflow. Four-bladed propellers may be a more suitable choice for this setup, as three-bladed ones can struggle to provide sufficient thrust for these powerful motors.
