This is my latest version of a completely 3D-printable 250 FPV racing quadcopter design. The compact design is engineered to withstand crashes without breaking. Control boards, RC receivers, power distribution systems and other components are snugly contained within the 15mm gap between the top and bottom plates, ensuring complete protection. This quadcopter is built for reliability, even in extreme crash situations. Foldable arms help extend impact time during a crash, reducing the likelihood of breakage. The landing gear acts as a shock absorber, likely to break in a severe crash but protecting arms and other parts from damage while being easy to replace. Batteries can be mounted on either top or bottom; only the battery mount part is required for mounting at the bottom. An extended version of the top plate allows for mounting an FPV camera from underneath. A Mobius camera can be added in addition to the standard FPV camera, mounted on top or bottom. Motor mounts feature standard 12x16 mounting for 1806 motors and 16x19 mounting for 2204 motors. All hardware (excluding motor mounting for 1806 motors) is M3. Metal hardware is recommended for arm mounts to prevent flexing while nylon hardware is suggested for all other components for added weight reduction.
