FPV Pan Tilt ccd mount
thingiverse
This is a customized pan-tilt mount I designed specifically for a PCB board CCD camera, part number PZ0420 from securitycamera2000. The design may be compatible with other PCB-based cameras, but no guarantees can be made regarding its effectiveness. I've included a slit on the mount that enables attachment of a Mobius action cam on top. A printed component is provided to keep it in line. Two servos are required for this mount, and I recommend using metal gear servos if you plan on attaching the Mobius, but plastic ones work as well. Specific servo models recommended include the Hextronik MG-14 (metal gear) found at hobbyking.com and the HXT900 (plastic gear). You'll also need four M2x8mm screws and one M3x16mm screw for assembly. Additionally, I included slots in the printed files to fit control horns that usually come with the servos. For securing them, extra-thick CA glue is used, specifically in conjunction with those CA hinges and clamps from hobby supplies. The axis spacer and tilt joint are located at the opposite end from the servo and are secured by an M3 screw. It's worth noting that I plan to make some improvements down the line to this design using bearings for smoother operation on the pan axis, which may alleviate the slight wobble observed with this simple configuration.
