FPV Ground Station 16mm Pole Mounts
thingiverse
After completing my remake of the FR632 holder for my mic stand based ground station, I started creating multiple pole clamps and T-slot mounts to help organize other items on my ground station. These clamps attach perfectly to a 16mm microphone stand pole but may work with different diameters as well. I designed numerous products to clean up the entire mess: Generic Clamp - There are three different versions of this clamp, one normal "fat" one and two low-profile ones, differing only in which side holds the nuts. Wire Box - Useful for hiding away all power and video wire connections. Connects to the pole via one of the generic clamps. Monitor Mount - Used to hold a standard 7-inch FPV monitor with a mounting T-slot on the back. Video Splitter Mount - Used to hold a Boss BVAM5 video signal amplifier and splitter (~$11 on Amazon Prime). If you want to run your signal to goggles, a DVR, the monitor, or other items, it is nice to have an amp in the signal chain. The clamps are designed to be connected with two 3/4-inch long, 8-32 bolts (available at any hardware store), and press-fit recesses are provided for the nut. I am not sure of the metric equivalent but a 20mm M4 will be very close. I printed these with 30% infill and have had no issues yet. As with most of my designs, I've included the 123D files for easier remixing.
