This is a MINI 8 GPS mount designed for the back of an alien or similar frame. It has a pass through for the wire harness so that the wires go down through a hole that is in the top plate of an alien frame. If you don't have this hole you can drill it out. It's designed so that you can lock a cover on it to keep the GPS in place. Similarly it has notches for a zip tie if you prefer.
