FPV Googles for Oakley O-Frame V1
thingiverse
Introducing my homemade FPV goggles! While awaiting the release of Fatshark Dominator HDs, I built these using an Oakley O-Frame MX glass as base. Inside, a 4.3 inch LCD from eBay (car backup camera) with dimensions of 122x72x15mm is installed. To achieve magnification, I created an adjustable fresnel lens frame featuring two turnable knobs. The lens size used is 135x95mm (http://www.3dlens.com/shop/pocket-fresnel-magnifier.php). Picture quality, in my opinion, is excellent! Parts list includes: 1 LCD car backup display from eBay, 1 fresnel lens from http://www.3dlens.com, M4x45mm Hex Head bolts, M4 self locking nuts, M4 nuts, MX google like Oakley O-Frame or similar, UHU super glue. For printing instructions, simply print it but note that .stl files may need scaling (10x in this case).
