FPV Goggles Anti-Fog Fan System

thingiverse

This is a self-made version antifog fan system for your FPV Goggles; a must in the cold days!! This design has been tested on a Fatshark Base SD and Skyzone goggles, but it could work in other models; and remember that you can cut and adapt the eye holes for your goggles. The design is based on three 3D printed parts, the foam around the goggles and the small fan. Attached you have the three STL files for printing, and a PDF with the foam templates. There are two versions of FanAirGuide, giving you an extra for those big noses ;). The small fan selected is a 12v DC 25x25x10mm that could be easily found online. It has been tested from 6v up to 13v, good to be used with a 2-3s LiPo. UPDATES: *If you have problems with your FPV goggle buttons and the FAN holder (like in the Fatshark Predator), check out Steve's FAN Adaptor for these goggles: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1163521 Enjoy the design and share it !! Print Settings Rafts: No Raft Resolution: Supports: 0.2mm 40% Infill: None Notes: This design was printed in a FreakyPrinter using blue ABS 1.75mm, but black ABS is recommended to block light. Slic3r was used to print the parts with the following options: resolution: 0.2mm; infill: 40%; walls: 2; bottom layer: 2; bottom layers: 3; support, brim none. Assembly: A hot gun was used to glue the parts, which provides enough support. Using the PDF template you can print it on a paper and cut the foam template. A 15mm black foam was used with good results. To cut the foam you can use scissors, cutter or a hotwire foam cutter;), check the next picture.
