FPV Goggle battery IKEA Braunit
thingiverse
Are you done with all the wires attached to your FPV goggles? I made this battery bracket for my Skyzone V2 Goggles to eliminate loose cables and struggling to get the battery in and out of my headstrap every time. This bracket holds an IKEA Braunit battery pack and accommodates the original slide-in battery connector. The Braunit batteries have a built-in BMS and are USB rechargeable, so I don't need to carry additional charging cables or loose 18650 cells in my backpack. With this battery mount, the headstrap fits much better since it doesn't have a battery in it. Instead, the weight of the battery is directly supported by the goggles, and as an added bonus, it balances out quite nicely since my goggles no longer tend to fall forward as much anymore. Pair this with my modded battery bay for the Taranis Qx7 transmitter so you'll only need one type of battery for all your FPV equipment: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4165054 Required parts: Braunit battery: https://www.ikea.com/nl/en/p/braunit-battery-pack-10433258/ Connector that fits the battery: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/4000332107587.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dF20Mne PCB used to mount the connector: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/32824842884.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.3b5f10ediZdjXs&algo_pvid=018765da-ed36-44e3-b366-cdb8bb83d07f&algo_expid=018765da-ed36-44e3-b366-cdb8bb83d07f-0&btsid=0b0a0ac215818013617218727e51ca&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ Be careful when wiring these up and measure to ensure the polarity matches with the polarity of your goggles connector !!
