I've had the problem of holding my Boscam RC305 5.8 GHz AV receiver upright while flying in first person view with a quadcopter. This popular 5.8 GHz AV receiver delivers excellent video and audio quality, provided it's properly positioned. The usual approach is to place it on top of the quadcopter box where I store all my stuff, but this inevitably results in it falling over, getting dirty, or losing signal due to inconsistent placement during flight. The obvious solution is a holder of some sort – either a box, case, pole, or stick that can be used to secure the receiver. By attaching the AV receiver to the side of my quadcopter box (as shown), I've managed to keep it upright and stable while flying. Additionally, the AV and power cables effectively anchor everything in place, eliminating the risk of the setup falling out. Dimensions: Width: 53mm Length: 73mm Height: 12.5mm The ideal attachment point would be roughly 42mm in size. Designed for: The Boscam RC305 5.8 GHz AV receiver, although it might also work with similar dimensioned receivers from other manufacturers.
