FPV Board Camera 25 Degree Mount - With Bumpers (Emax NightHawk 250)
thingiverse
Modified the previous FPV Board Camera Mount to include protective bumpers that shield the camera from damage. Angled at 25 degrees for optimal performance, the camera is securely attached using four M2.4 x 6mm socket screws available at Home Depot, spaced 27mm apart. The camera lens is fully recessed within the mount, preventing it from protruding and risking damage. As evident in my photographs, a hard flight test revealed that the bumpers absorbed mud and prop debris without harming the camera or lens. In the event of a crash, this design reduces the likelihood of broken lenses, while also minimizing debris flung onto the lens by the props. This mount prints in two pieces with 20% infill density. Printer Settings: Solidoodle 2 - Pro, no rafts, no supports, 0.2mm resolution, and 20% infill. Post-printing note: Depending on your printer's calibration and settings, you may need to drill the pillar holes for a snug fit. The screw holes should be fine-tuned for optimal thread engagement with the plastic.
