FPV Antenna Hardpoint

FPV Antenna Hardpoint

I was searching for a sturdy hardpoint to secure my FPV antenna in an Eflite Opterra or any foam aircraft. The plan is to apply hot glue and press it firmly into the foam before drilling out the center. Since the center measures 6.7mm, which is just enough space for a snug fit with the SMA extension from the VTX, I can then screw on the nut and have it securely mounted. Initially, I designed it in PLA but then tried printing it in PETG for the first time; however, the initial design had a flaw - the teeth kept breaking off easily. To resolve this issue, I modified the design with 0.5mm thicker teeth, which still broke, so I knew there was another problem at play. It wasn't until I checked online that I realized I needed to turn off my layer cooling fan; after doing so, the next print came out strong and solid.
