FPV AIO mount for Syma X5C
thingiverse
This is an FPV AIO camera mount for a brushless 3S Syma X5C. It's meant to be strapped securely on top of the canopy, providing a stable platform for flying FPV. The mount features a hole for the battery strap to slip through, ensuring a snug fit and preventing any movement during flight. The design is specifically tailored for the Lantian AIO unit but has also been successfully used with a TX01 module. To accommodate users who require 5V power for their AIO systems, I've added an additional slot in the revised mount to hold a DC/DC converter, as seen in the Boldclash F08. To print this mount, it's highly recommended to use TPU or a flexible material like Ninjaflex. This flexibility allows you to easily insert and secure the module using elastic bands. If you opt for a hard plastic like PLA, you'll need to modify the hole into a slot by cutting away some of the plastic. Elastic bands can then be used to hold the module in place. Keep in mind that this mount is quite heavy, so if you plan to use it on an original X5C, you may experience sluggish flight performance. For optimal results, I exclusively use it on my brushless 3S X5C. Printer Settings: * Printer: Prusi I3 clone * Rafts: Doesn't Matter * Supports: Doesn't Matter * Resolution: 0.15mm * Infill: 20% - 30% * Notes: Rotate the mount sideways in your slicer to prevent unnecessary support material generation. The OpenSCAD design allows for parameter tweaking, enabling you to adjust the angle and switch between a rounded bottom (suitable for Syma canopies) or flat bottom.
