FPS stands for "finger pointing slingshot," a literal interpretation that's spot on, because the hand position required to operate this sling is exactly like that. The holding power of the hand is minimized. The slingshot rests between the thumb and index finger. Due to its narrow handle in this area with a pronounced rounding, the fork aligns itself almost by default with slight pretension of the bands. The little finger secures the grip, while the ring finger and middle finger prevent the shot from falling out of the hand after it's been released. The back of the hand and forearm are aligned almost in one straight line, further reducing the risk of blur. Some shooting action in the woods and near a lake can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMAYHBs4Z3E https://youtu.be/RTfVOA1Ns_E The fork width is 100 mm (measured from outer edges). I've provided massive versions as well as skeleton versions, both for right- and left-handers, in the data sets. Have fun with it. Pay attention to your safety and that of others.
