FPL

This ship is created for the 2019 GrabCAD Spaceship Design Challenge. Please see the file << Notes - FPL.docx>> for details regarding construction, and contest requirements.Originally designed as a space faring tug. Few of the ships remain in service due to inexperienced captains attempting to accelerate the three engines too quickly while tethered to a load. The resulting strain tore those ships in half. The remaining ships are prized for their power, acceleration, and maneuverability due to the many thruster ports located around the body. The “wings” are removable to save space when transporting the FPL on, or within a larger vessel.
