thingiverse
Welcome to the Foxie Clock, a fully open-source RGB clock with nixie-like edge-lit acrylic digits that rivals an RGB pixel display clock in its sheer awesomeness!\r\n\r\nInspired by old nixie tubes and with capacitors protruding through the surface like vacuum tubes, the Foxie Clock is a fun, colorful way to display time at your desk, office, or anywhere. Brightness, color, animations, and time are all adjustable directly with 4 buttons on the back.\r\n\r\nTo get started, you'll need a Foxie Clock kit from Tindie (https://www.tindie.com/products/afoxinsocks/foxie-clock/), which includes everything you need except a USB-C cable. The kit comes equipped with a SparkFun RedBoard Artemis Nano (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15443), an extremely cool, fully Arduino-compatible board that powers the Foxie PCB.\r\n\r\nThe source code, laser cutting files, PCB design, and documentation for assembly are all available at: https://github.com/afoxinsocks/foxie-clock\r\n\r\nThis project has been in development for over 6 months and has undergone many, many iterations before landing on the final design you see here.\r\n\r\nThe full Fusion360 project and the .step files are also available for anyone wanting to make changes to the design more easily. So go ahead, get creative and have fun!
