My case broke and I thought I would give a try with a 3D printed part. The sturdiness is unexpectedly good and also the M8 lens thread works fine. The case holder is meant to be used with metal inserts M2 I believe. You may need to scale the printe 1 or 2% according to the tolerance capability of your printer if the thread doesn't work immediately, since the clearance of this fine M8 thread has to be pretty accurate for it to work properly.
