This is a clamp engineered to secure bottle cages or cargo cages to the legs of a Fox 34 fork. Cages connect to the same M5 bolt used for clamping, simplifying the process. The mount is intended to be printed from TPU flex filament with approximately 80% infill, which can compress around the fork to prevent slipping. This material is extremely tough, but two pieces of aluminum plate are required to distribute clamping forces and restrain bolts to prevent the TPU from over-stretching. These plates can be easily cut and drilled from 20x1.8mm aluminum bar stock. The following parts are necessary to hold one cargo cage: - 4x clamp halves - 4x aluminum plates - 8x M5 washers - 4x M5x70mm bolts - 4x M5 lock nuts Installation: - Wrap a layer of tape on the fork to protect against rubbing - Assemble the clamp components as per the attached image, placing the cage between the aluminum plate and the washer on the bolt head side - Tighten the bolts until the TPU starts to deform around the fork. The clamp may still wobble slightly as the TPU compresses further, but this will actually help absorb impacts. It should not shift. Warning: I designed the mount such that the bolts or clamp components could not interfere with my spokes even if the mount slipped and rotated. Make sure you check this for your wheel.
