Fowberry Park i (March 2007)
sketchfab
Section of carved outcrop exposed on Fowberry Park's rugged terrain, located near Wooler in Northumberland's scenic landscape.\nThis is one of nine carvings documented along a single stretch of outcropping in the Fowberry Park area, with five clustered together in a striking display. Extensive quarrying has taken place along this same outcropping, as evidenced by the scars just to its west. Several cup and ring motifs on this panel are weathered, particularly the largest design. A discrepancy exists over the correct reference on the Beckensall Archive, with NADRAP assigning Fowberry Park / Fowberry Mains i in ERA.\nERA record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=195\nHistoric England listing: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1006537\nThis slightly noisy model was generated in September 2019, from five stereo pairs captured by Kevin Malloy during NADRAP recording in March 2007. The imagery forms part of the NADRAP / ERA archive's comprehensive collection.
