sketchfab

Four scenes of an altarpiece commemorating Christ's Passion come together: Flagellation, bearing of the cross, descent from the cross, burial, a fragment of an altarpiece. Crafted in Brabant, circa 1460-1470, with Brussels hallmarks, this piece is made of oak and retains its original polychrome. Located at the Musée du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, Belgium. Captured with ReCap Pro from AutoDesk. The style of these four carved fragments echoes that of Flemish painter Dirk Bouts, particularly in headgear, body proportions, and drapery on certain characters' clothing.
