On this website (http://www.armure.ch/WALKING.htm), a man showcases his creation of a real walking machine. Among others, he features the Klann Linkage Walking Robot Mechanism, Walking Gears model and a Walking Machine. These models were designed with Solidworks 2015, rendered using Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition, and edited in Virtualdub for frames. The AVI/X264 and BMP files were saved after editing. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format, and Gifs were made with PhotoScape. IrfanView was utilized to edit the renders. Simlab Composer 7 offers animated 3D-PDF, ZIM and SIMLAB files that can be viewed on IOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app. The model is also available in various formats like Solidworks 2015, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, SketchUp, and 3DS.
