Four Hole Probe

Pressure probes detect pressure and velocity in both external and internal flows. They are equipped with multiple holes on the head to sense pressure, which is then used to determine flow conditions. For two-dimensional flows, three holes suffice to represent fundamental fluid dynamics features. However, for complex three-dimensional flows, at least four holes are needed. Probes can have diverse head geometries (spherical, cylindrical, conical, cobra-type, etc.), resulting in varied measuring ranges.
