Four circles or diamond shape? optical illusion

Is it a diamond-like shape or four circles? Rotating it or viewing in the mirror shows something else, all thanks to math by Kokichi Sugihara. For the best view, try looking at it from 45 degrees angle. This design comes with a rotatable figure and support, or a smaller version that can be placed directly on a flat surface.
