Four Christmas Ornaments

thingiverse

Here are Christmas ornaments based on polyhedra known as propello, first described by mathematician George Hart. Find more information at http://www.georgehart.com/propello/propello.html The coordinates for these unique shapes were generously shared from D.I. McCooey's "Visual Polyhedra" website. The small ornament is modeled after a Propello Truncated Icosidodecahedron, available on McCooey's website at http://dmccooey.com/polyhedra/PropelloTruncatedIcosidodecahedron.html, and the larger one uses an Expanded Joined Hexpropello Dodecahedron, also found on the site: http://dmccooey.com/polyhedra/ExpandedJoinedHexpropelloDodecahedron.html Wire frames and solid versions are both included. To print these ornaments effectively: Print settings: Rafts: Yes Supports: Doesn't matter Resolution: 0.3
