Four Card RSA Badge Holder v2
thingiverse
Version 2 of my RSA badge holder. I created this one to use a sliding mechanism, rather than a hinge.Print all bodies upright for best/strongest results. You'll need three, round, 6x1mm magnets. One goes in the spot at the top of the slide, and two are slotted into the main body, below the RSA token. Make sure you have all the magnets faced the correct way so that they attract one another. If you put one in backwards, you'll repel the side, rather than hold it in. I recommend using a sharpie to mark the magnet faces so you don't mix them up. Place the magnet and seat the slide first. Then push the magnets into the main body.Again, be sure they are attracting, not repelling. Once they are in place, they are nearly impossible to remove. The tiny fill piece is for the open side of the main body. After you have pressed the magnet into the slide and positioned the slide into the main body, the fill is glued in place (slide in from the bottom until it seats completely in the tiny grooves. It is intentionally created to be too long, so you can simply clip it to length after it is glued up. The slide only fits one way, (with the thumb catch on the open side of the main body). This is a bit of a complex print, and it might take a try or two to get it right for your printer. As always, please don't steal or sell my design. Good luck!Happy printing!
