Fountain Water Feature
thingiverse
I had a vintage water pump and liner lying around, so I decided to repurpose them in a large plant container. The pot measures approximately 340mm in diameter, which limited the range of the original pump, prompting me to design a new grille and fountain head from scratch. This is an ongoing project, currently in its fourth iteration, as I continuously refine the size and positioning of the water jet for optimal performance. Future updates may be necessary to achieve my desired outcome. To build this DIY water feature, you will need the following components: 1x Fountain Head 1x Upright Piece 1x Upward-Facing Quadrant* 3x Standard Quadrants 1x Bucket with a 300mm (12") top opening Approximately 300mm (12") of standard garden hose (with a 1/2" or 13mm connector) 12 Cable Ties The grille is composed of interconnected quadrants for easier printing. The included drawing showcases two upright quadrants, as I'm concurrently working on another water feature with dual mounts. Each quadrant is printed in an inverted orientation. When connected, they form a secure ring that rests inside the bucket to prevent slipping and ensure stability. To assemble the components, use cable ties to securely fasten parts together.
