Fountain Toad

This toad originates from a fountain that was part of a larger sculpture featuring six toads arranged in a circle surrounding a central dolphin. The original installation was situated in the church forest within the Danish city of Vordingborg. When the fountain was dismantled, each member of the city council received one of the toads as a memento. My grandfather served on the city council, and I acquired this toad from my mother.
