Fountain Pen
thingiverse
I use a JoWo #6 Feeder, which operates on a 7.5x0.5 thread pitch - I had fun making that one. Other feeders might work just fine; it looks an awful lot like an Edison, but I'm not sure about that. A Franklin-Christoph Model 66 was my previous pen, and when the section broke, I decided to take on this project. I'm still tweaking the fit and finish, but it's fully functional right now. In the future, I'm thinking of printing it in BronzeFill. The cap is still a work in progress; I need to perfect the internal design and get it to thread onto the barrel more smoothly. I've also redesigned the Section piece. The original profile felt off - it was too steep. So, I've shallowed it out a bit. Check out Section 2 for the updated design. You can find the Fusion files here: https://a360.co/2Cv2noV. I left the exterior relatively rough to allow you to customize the shape as you see fit. However, the internals should be accurate and work well together. Please print and modify this design; I'd love to see what creative ideas you come up with.
