The Fontana del Nettuno stands majestically in Florence, Italy, perched on the Piazza della Signoria's grand stage, directly opposite the Palazzo Vecchio. Commissioned in 1565, this magnificent fountain is a masterwork of marble and bronze craftsmanship. Baccio Bandinelli laid out the initial vision for the project, but it was Bartolomeo Ammannati who brought the design to life with his skilled hands. Collaborators also played a significant role in shaping various elements of the fountain, including the breathtaking bronze sea-horses created by Giovanni da Bologna, more commonly known as Giambologna.
