Three female heads adorn a cast-iron drinking fountain and gas-lamp presented to Southampton, Hampshire, UK by Councillor Jonas Nichols in 1882. Originally erected in Six Dials, St Mary's, Nichols himself drank the first cup of water from it. In 1904, the fountain was relocated to Kingsland Square before being shifted again in 1954 to Bevois Square. Renamed Jonas Nichols Square in 1990, this Grade II Listed Monument has suffered damage with the fourth female head removed as seen when viewed from behind.
